Parks and Recreation Management, Bachelor of Science

If you enjoy the outdoors and have a keen interest in ensuring public access to future park, recreation, and leisure service opportunities, a degree in Parks and Recreation Management (PRM) will put you on track to fulfill your goals. Our graduates go on to careers with municipal parks and recreation departments, private resorts, federal land-management agencies, correctional institutions, nonprofit organizations, and a variety of other outlets in the industry.

The PRM program focuses on small class sizes, high student-teacher interaction, on-site field experiences, and experiential learning opportunities. The PRM faculty continually provide unique, diverse, and innovative student-centered educational experiences.

This program is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Parks, Recreation, Tourism and Related Professions (COAPRT) and recognized by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA).
