NAU’s Indian Country Criminal Justice bachelor’s degree program—the first and only one of its kind—was developed in consultation with law enforcement and justice providers in Indian Country to addresses a critical workforce development need.
With this unique online major focused on crime and justice in Indian Country, you’ll be prepared for work in law enforcement, justice programs, and other careers in Indigenous communities and beyond. Our engaging curriculum combines criminal justice theories and practices with the unique issues of jurisdiction in Indian Country, federal Indian law, tribal law and institutions, tribal sovereignty, cultural competency, and addresses distinctive criminal justice issues in Indian Country.
