Elementary Education, BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN EDUCATION

Inspire students to learn through questioning.

Teachers can change the world. As an elementary educator, you’ll help shape the character—and future—of every child in your classroom.

The BSEd Elementary Education program leads to Arizona teacher certification and will give you a solid foundation to teach in K-8th grade classrooms. Coursework includes mathematics, liberal studies, educational foundations, bilingual education, educational psychology, special education, curriculum, and educational technology. Our program is technologically advanced, culturally responsive, and student-focused. And our small class sizes guarantee that you’ll receive lots of individual attention and engage in plenty of classroom teaching.

With a degree in Elementary Education, you’ll be prepared to teach future generations through public, charter, and private schools—as well as in other venues, such as organizations, non-profits, and agencies.
