BACHELOR'S PROGRAMS

B INTERDISCIPLINARY STUDIES – JUSTICE STUDIES 90-30

In this diverse course of study, you will establish solid foundations to address current issues in criminal justice fields while exploring interdisciplinary topics of your interest. Through an emphasis of your choice, you’ll develop unique skills that will enable you to succeed as both a leader and practitioner in your professional life. Studying under expert faculty members with extensive experience in criminal justice and intelligence fields, you’ll tailor your degree to your interests while developing advanced skills and perspectives. This program lets you transfer up to 90 credits and complete your degree with just 30 credits at NAU.

B JUSTICE STUDIES

By learning from top practitioners in the field, you will gain firsthand knowledge of popular criminal justice areas, such as juvenile justice, the court system, criminal justice leadership, ethics, forensics, intelligence studies, corrections, terrorism, and legal issues for justice administrators. The courses offered in the Justice Studies program are designed to provide a solid theoretical foundation you can work from to address current issues facing the criminal justice field.

BAS APPLIED SCIENCE – JUSTICE STUDIES

Our faculty members are top criminal justice practitioners. Learn firsthand about their experiences in areas such as juvenile justice, the court system, forensics, intelligence studies, corrections, terrorism, and legal issues for justice administrators. Your core courses include ethics, leadership, criminal justice, criminology, the justice system, and effective writing—and you’ll choose electives to tailor your studies to your interests and professional goals.

BS INDIAN COUNTRY CRIMINAL JUSTICE

If you aspire to serve and protect your community, this program will help you master complex legal and political frameworks as you address the challenges and cross-cultural barriers unique to this region. Through this interdisciplinary track, you’ll develop substantial knowledge in both criminal justice and Indigenous studies by exploring the history and developments of jurisdictional and applied topics in law enforcement policy throughout the Southwest.

BS PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

MPA PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION
